Fabulously elegant down on the farm.

Friends Ann and Jeremy liked a romantic look with shades of pink, yellow, blue and green. Mostly locally grown flowers, but a few from far away places. The combination of the two created a casual elegance. Fun was had by all, at a wonderful reception in the barn, including myself! Thanks Ann and Jeremy!

Birds and butterflies

Birds and butterflies set the theme for this wonderful spring time wedding. Friends Kasia and Joey wed in downtown Asheville at the Basilica of Saint Lawrence, with reception in Black Mountain. Spring is in the air with accents of birds, nests, eggs, and springtime flowers. Pops of color accent the reception floral design to give it a real wildflower look. Queen Ann’s Lace was Kasia’s mothers favorite flower, and it set the tone for the whole design.

Flowers: Queen Ann’s Lace, peony, verbena, craspedia, asiatic lily, larkspur, hydrangea, rose, spider mum.

Brides maid bouquet was green and white with a slight accent of orange. The dogwood is so dramatic, and gives this bouquet a romantic unstructured look.  Very fresh and local feel.
